AI sentence rewriter

What the AI sentence rewriter does

Paste a sentence, run it, and the AI sentence rewriter gives you the same sentence built differently: the verb where you can see it, the clauses in the order that carries the point, and the length matched to the emphasis you wanted. The facts do not move. The shape does.

The rewrite runs on our AI server, not in your browser, because rebuilding a sentence needs a language model reading the whole clause structure at once. Your text is sent there and the result comes back. You get 5 free runs per rolling 24 hours and no account is required.

The problem

Why one sentence reads weak, in plain terms

A weak sentence is rarely a grammar mistake. It is usually a sentence that spends its strongest position on nothing.

The empty opener
"There is a reason this matters" instead of "This matters because." Three words before the subject arrives.
The buried verb
"A decision was made about the budget" instead of "We decided the budget." The action is hidden inside a noun.
Clause order
The least important clause goes first, so the reader meets the qualification before the claim.
Same length, every time
Sentence after sentence at the same length gives up the emphasis a short one would have had.

How it works

How to rewrite a sentence with AI in three steps

One sentence at a time gives the sharpest result. A short paragraph works, but each sentence is handled on its own.

Step 1
Paste the sentence. Anything up to 12,000 characters is accepted in one run.
Step 2
Add an instruction if you want one, then run it. The sentence goes to our AI server and comes back in a few seconds.
Step 3
Read the result next to the original and check it still says what you meant. Your remaining runs are shown on screen.

Controls

Tone and style: one instruction box, not a dropdown

Most rewriters give you a fixed list to pick from: formal, casual, confident, shorter. This one gives you a single optional instruction field of up to 300 characters, and you type what you actually want. "Keep it under 100 words." "Make it sound like a colleague, not a brochure." "Keep the numbers, cut the adjectives."

Leave it empty and the rewriter does the default job: clearer sentence, same meaning. There is no preset menu and there is no paid tier hiding extra modes behind a price, because there is no paid tier at all.

Why it matters

What a buried verb or a flat opener actually costs you

A sentence that opens on "there is" is not wrong. It is just slower, and slower is expensive in the places that matter most: a subject line, a headline, the first line of a cover letter, the opening sentence of an answer. If that sentence is skimmed, the rest of it may not be read at all.

The same habit repeated for a page is what makes writing feel padded. One flat sentence is a small thing. Ten in a row is the reason someone stops reading and cannot say why.

The underlying cause

Why models default to the weak version of a sentence

A model picks the likely next word. "There is" and "It is important to note that" are extremely likely sentence openers, because they fit almost anywhere and commit to almost nothing. The buried verb is popular for the same reason: "a decision was made" does not have to name who decided.

So the rewriter's job is narrow and specific. Find the real subject and the real verb, put them where a reader looks first, and order what is left by how much it matters.

Straight answer

Does this make my sentence undetectable?

No. We do not test this tool against AI detectors, we do not tune its output against any detector's scoring, and we will not tell you what a detector will say about your text afterwards. Nobody who does not run the detector can honestly tell you that.

What a rewrite does is measurable and smaller: the sentence lands its point faster for a person reading it. That is worth having on its own.

Who uses it

Who uses the sentence rewriter, and when

People fixing the one sentence that has to work: a headline, a tagline, an email subject line, the first line of an application. Somewhere every word is doing a job and a wasted opener is obvious.

Students use it on a single sentence inside an essay, under whatever their school's policy on AI writing tools says. Anyone writing outreach uses it the same way, on the line that decides whether the next line gets read.

FAQ

AI sentence rewriter FAQ

Everything below is answered in full, nothing to click open.

How do I rewrite a sentence with AI?

Paste the sentence, run it, and read the result. It comes back in a few seconds with the clauses reordered and the verb brought forward.

Is the AI sentence rewriter free?

Yes. 5 free runs per rolling 24 hours, no account, no card, no paid tier behind it.

How long can the text be?

Up to 12,000 characters in one run. Below one character there is nothing to rewrite and the run is rejected.

Can I choose a tone like formal or casual?

There is no tone dropdown. There is an optional instruction box of up to 300 characters where you type what you want, which covers more ground than a preset list.

Is my text uploaded?

Yes. This tool runs on our AI server, so the sentence is sent over the network to be rewritten. Do not paste anything you would not send.

Can I upload a Word file?

No. The box takes pasted text only. There is no .docx, .rtf or .txt upload.

Is there a browser extension?

No. There is no extension, no desktop app and no integration with Gmail or any other site.

Does it give me several versions to pick from?

No. You get one rewrite per run. If you want another angle, change the instruction and run it again.

Does it score how much meaning was kept?

No. There is no percentage and no similarity score. Read the result against your original and judge it yourself.

Will it change my meaning?

It should not. Order, length and emphasis change; the facts should not. Check the result before you use it, every time.

What is the difference between this and the paraphraser?

The paraphraser restates a passage, often someone else's, keeping the claim and the citation intact. This rewrites one of your own sentences to read better.

What is the difference between this and the paragraph rewriter?

This works inside one sentence. The paragraph rewriter works a level up, on which sentence opens and how several of them connect.

Will this pass an AI detector?

We make no claim about that. Detector scoring is not published and we do not test against it.

Can I use it for schoolwork?

Only if your institution's policy on AI writing tools allows it. That policy is theirs, not ours.

Why did the rewrite barely change anything?

Because the sentence was already fine. If the subject and verb were already up front with nothing buried, there is little left to move.

What happens when my 5 runs are gone?

The screen tells you when the next one is available. Each run frees up 24 hours after you used it.

Does it work on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini output?

Yes. It works on the text, not on where the text came from.

Does it remove hidden Unicode characters too?

No. That is a separate tool. Run the cleaner first if you also copied invisible characters out of a chat window.

Is there an API or a batch mode?

No. One sentence at a time, inside the daily allowance.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, the same way, in any modern mobile browser.

Does it work in languages other than English?

It is built and checked for English. Other languages often come back usable, but we do not hold them to the same standard.

Should I run the result through it a second time?

Usually not. A second pass over an already-tightened sentence tends to make it odd rather than clearer.
